Luxury Tented Suites
Each of the 11 luxury thatched tents features a private deck with panoramic views of the waterhole and surrounding bush. The en-suite bathroom includes a shower and free toiletries. In-room amenities include tea-and-coffee-making facilities, a full drinks cabinet with regular ice replenishment, and a private outdoor seating area. At night, turn-down service includes a hot water bottle and small heater on cooler evenings.
Colonial Dining Experience
Meals are served in the colonial Gorah House dining room or around an outdoor fire. Guests enjoy gourmet barbecues and African cuisine. High tea is served every afternoon. Special diet menus are available - the chef accommodates gluten-free and dairy-free requests. The menu is personalized with each guest's name and meal preferences.
Pool and Game Viewing
The outdoor swimming pool (open all year) is fenced, with sun loungers, beach chairs, and umbrellas. Pool/beach towels are provided. A waterhole in front of the main lodge attracts elephants, zebras, lions, rhinos, and other wildlife. Guests can observe animals day and night from the patio. Game drives (morning and afternoon) and nature walks are led by knowledgeable rangers. Night drives can also be arranged.
Addo National Park Location
Gorah Elephant Camp is located in the malaria-free Addo Elephant National Park. The camp sits directly at a waterhole. Grahamstown (with over 70 declared National Heritage sites) is 103 km away; Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha) is 105 km away. Access includes a 1.5-hour drive from Port Elizabeth, with the last 50 minutes on an unsealed road that serves as a first game drive. Public roads are not available - transfers can be arranged.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. The camp offers an airport shuttle, free parking, 24-hour security, safety deposit boxes, and fire extinguishers.
