OYSTER BAY BEACH LODGE - Oyster Bay

Each room at Oyster Bay Beach Lodge is large with a private balcony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. They include a seating area with a sofa bed, tea and coffee facilities, and an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. Some rooms feature a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, but the TV may not always work reliably. Pet-friendly policies allow dogs, though pet hair may be present on bedding and sofas.

Home-made meals are served in the large dining room built from pine with a thatched roof. The host cooks dinner and breakfast on request, using local ingredients like yellowtail fish and steak with vegetables. A small coffee house on-site provides breakfast in the room, and the bar currently does not operate-guests should bring their own supplies. Special diet menus and kids' meals are available.

Oyster Bay Beach Lodge is on the Garden Route, a 40-minute drive from Cape St Francis and Humansdorp. The access road from Humansdorp is unpaved and bumpy, so a 4x4 or high-clearance car is recommended. Oyster Bay village itself has paved roads, but watch for a speed bump before the lodge. Free private parking is available on-site. Shuttle service and luggage storage are offered.

The hotel offers daily housekeeping, ironing, laundry, express check-in/check-out, and private check-in. It is pet-friendly with pet bowls and a dog on the property. The host provides a 24-hour security with fire extinguishers, smoke alarms, and key access. Room service includes packed lunches and fruit.
