The tents are spacious with comfortable beds, soundproof walls, and windows that zip open for ventilation while keeping insects out. In-room tea and coffee maker included. Guests can watch giraffes, kudus, and impalas from the private terrace.
Home-Cooked Braai and Breakfast
Breakfast is à la carte, Full English/Irish, or vegetarian. The evening braai (BBQ) is prepared by hosts Mike and Marietjie, using locally sourced meats and organic ingredients. Home-made bread and fresh fruit salad are highlights. The bar serves wine, champagne, and special diet menus upon request. Kids' meals are available.
Leisure
Hiking and cycling can be enjoyed directly from the property. Game drives are available nearby. Guests can relax in the garden with a picnic area, sun terrace, and outdoor fireplace. Wildlife sightings from the tent include giraffes, nyalas, and other antelope. The property also offers free BBQ facilities and a shared lounge.
Near Addo Elephant Park
Harmony Luxury Tents is 45 km from Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium and 48 km from Port Elizabeth Golf Club. Chief Dawid Stuurman International Airport is 55 km away. Addo Elephant National Park is about a one-hour drive. The lodge is set in a quiet valley off the main road, surrounded by nature.
Services
Hosts Mike and Marietjie provide local excursion tips and help arrange safaris. The 24-hour front desk offers express check-in/check-out and private check-in/check-out. A paid airport shuttle is available. Free WiFi and free parking are included. Safety deposit boxes and key access are provided.
“I found this to be an exceptionally welcoming place, where the owners' genuine hospitality truly stands out, making you feel at home from arrival. The tents themselves are a highlight, particularly the outdoor showers that offer stunning views, and the evening braai is an experience not to be missed for its quality and atmosphere. Its proximity to Addo Elephant Park is also a considerable advantage for safari enthusiasts.”
