Accommodations include thatched-roof wooden cottages with elevated decks, open-air showers, and flushable toilets. Each comes with a refrigerator and a braai for self-catering. The chalets are air-conditioned, have private bathrooms, and feature a traditional Lapa with porcupine quill lamps. Bush cabins offer outdoor kitchens and bathrooms, and the Dung Beetle rooms are shaped like dung beetles with indoor or outdoor amenities. Some units overlook the Zuurberg Mountains and citrus plantations.

A full English breakfast is served daily. The Dung Beetles' bar operates from 12:00 to 19:00, offering a range of drinks. Dinner is not provided onsite; the staff supplies a list of nearby restaurants (email bookings@addodungbeetle.co.za for recommendations). Guests staying in self-catering units can prepare their own meals using the provided kitchenettes or braai.
